Cowboys Fall Short at Air Force 72-66
Nathan Sobey scored a career-high 22 points, and Leonard Washington returned to the line-up and posted a double-double, but it wasn't enough. The Wyoming Cowboys lost their third straight game in Mountain West Conference action at Air Force Tuesday night by a final of 72-66. UW suffered through a six-and-a-half minute stretch without a field goal in the second half and couldn't overcome that dry spell.

Cowgirls Fall Short to Aztecs 57-51
The Wyoming Cowgirls hung tough all game long, but didn't have enough to overcome the potent 1-2 punch of Courtney Clements and Chelsea Hopkins of San Diego State in a 57-51 loss Wednesday night at the Arena-Auditorium. The league-leading Aztecs took the lead for good with an 11-3 run at the start of the second half and held off any Cowgirl challenge. Clements and Hopkins combined for 41 of SDSU's 57 points.
Cowboys Crushed at San Diego State, 79-51
The two-game win streak in Mountain West play was short-lived for the Wyoming Cowboys, as they got pasted by the Aztecs in San Diego Tuesday night, 79-51. Without their leading scorer and rebounder, Leonard Washington, the Pokes were no match for SDSU, who shot 68 percent in the game and built a 24-point lead by halftime.
