When dawn broke over Casper on Friday and residents began to wake up, they looked up into the skies and saw something that they don’t normally see. There, right above their heads, were numbers hot air balloons. That’s because today was the annual kick-off of the Casper Balloon Roundup, sponsored by Re/Max The Group, Parkway Plza and Townsquare Media.

That fact is going to change when the horsemen in red jackets and flat brimmed Stetsons will provide entertainment at the evening performances of the PRCA Rodeos at the Wyoming State Fair on August 16 and 17 and the afternoon rodeo on the 18.
