THE MAJORITY OF CASPER CITY COUNCIL IS IN FAVOR OF EITHER REPEALING OR REWRITING THE CITY’S RECENTLY ESTABLISHED PUBLIC INDOOR SMOKING BAN. THE BAN WAS DISCUSSED AT LENGTH AT TUESDAY’S COUNCIL WORK SESSION. A bill that would raise state fuel taxes by a dime a gallon has received preliminary approval in the Wyoming Senate.
Casper City Council To Revisit Smoking Ban Tonight-Morning Update [AUDIO]
The Casper City Council is taking another look at the city's smoking ban. The council will take up the matter at its meeting this evening. Average retail gasoline prices in Wyoming continue to go up. This past week up 10.6 cents a gallon to $3.03 a gallon and became the last state to go back up above that 3 dollar mark.

A potent winter storm with moderate to heavy snow will impact Wyoming this weekend. Snow will spread throughout most of the state starting later today and continue through Sunday afternoon, with Winter Storm Warnings and Watches posted for most of the state.

THE NATRONA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SAYS IT HAS MADE PROGRESS IN ITS INVESTIGATION INTO FINDING WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR A NUMBER OF CABIN BREAK-INS ON CASPER MOUNTAIN LAST SUMMER. Gov. Matt Mead's office says the governor doesn't feel it's the right time to talk election politics. The comments come after State Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill said she will run for governor in 2014.
