OFFICIALS SAY THE NUMBER OF PASSENGERS THAT LEFT THE AIRPORT IN FEBRUARY INCREASED 24 PERCENT COMPARED TO PASSENGER NUMBERS IN FEBRUARY OF 2012. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is urging people to be on the lookout for high water along the North Platte River later this month.

Wyoming lawmakers have settled their differences and passed a measure to allow the creation of a state lottery. The House and Senate had disagreed on how to spend the money that comes in from the lottery. Wyo. Legislature Could End Session On Wednesday-Afternoon Update [AUDIO]
If the Legislature can stick to its schedule, it would mean lawmakers would finish on the 36th day of what was scheduled to be a 40-day session. Lawmakers plan to wrap up their general session Wednesday. The Wyoming House on Monday voted not to concur with the Senate on a bill that would allow a lottery and multi-state games such as Powerball in the state.

Legislative leaders say Governor Matt Mead will receive the Supplemental Budget Bill today (Tuesday). OFFICIALS WITH THE CASPER-NATRONA COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT SAY THE NUMBER OF FLU CASES IN THE CASPER AREA IS ON THE DECLINE. HOWEVER, HEALTH OFFICIALS ALSO SAY THAT, DESPITE THE DECLINING NUMBERS, MANY AREA FLU CASES REMAIN SEVERE.
