Casper’s Downtown Farmer’s Market Kicks Off Next Tuesday

Another downtown destination for the summer kicks off next Tuesday. The Downtown Farmers Market with local produce, educational offerings and, according to Brett Governanti, market board president, it also includes having a good time.

"Since we have children's activities, kind of an educational booth, and a chef of the market booth, as well as some music and entertainment."

From the markets inception five years ago, Governanti says, they've intended it to be a low cost way to spend an evening meeting neighbors, buying regionally produced foods and maybe some handmade goods as well.

Governanti says they expect many of the same vendors to be returning plus some new one's.

The Downtown Farmers Market kicks off Tuesday, July 17th, 5 to 7:30pm and continues each Tuesday through September 4th.
