Southeast Fremont County and much of Natrona County, including Casper, are under a high wind warning until 3 p.m. Monday.

The strongest winds were expected Monday morning. The National Weather Service says southwest winds of 25-35 mph with gusts of 45-55 mph are expected.

On Outer Drive in Casper, gusts up to 65 mph were predicted, as well as along ridge tops in southeast Fremont County.

The NWS says high winds present a greater blow over risk for trucks pulling lightweight or high-profile trailers.

Sustained winds of at least 40 mph with gusts of at least 58 mph can lead to property damage.
