The Casper high school track teams took advantage of some decent weather to turn in some strong performances in Friday's Casper Invite at NCHS. On the boys side, Kelly Walsh's Lamont Frisby won the 100 and 200 meter dashes, just like he did last week at the Early Bird Meet. KW's Preston Gromer made it 2 for 2 this season with a win in the 400 meters. Gromer also ran in the winning 4x100 meter reIay team. In the distance races, Natrona's Garrett Condelario continues to shine as he posted victories in the 800 and 1600 meter runs, plus running the anchor in the winning 4x800 meter relay. NC's Gibson Weydeveld won the 3200. Kw's Caige McComb was impressive in winning the 110 hurdles.In the field events, Austin Schaff of Kelly Walsh took the high jump with Natronas Brennan Hagar taking first in the triple jump. In the team standings, Kelly Walsh took first in the meet with Natrona 3rd.

On the girls side, Grace Cellecz of Kelly Walsh won 100 meters in consecutive meets while Natrona's Molly Olsen was the runaway winner in the 3200. Cellecz ran on KW's 4x100 meter relay team that took first. Olsen led Natrona to the 4x800 relay podium. In the field events, Kelly Walsh freshman Corin Carruth won the triple jump and her teammate Mddison Dedic took first in the shot put. KW made it a sweep of the weight events with Teara Hermon winning the discus. In the team standings for the Casper Invite, Kelly Walsh was 2nd and Natrona 3rd.
