The who's who of Wyoming tourism will converge on Casper the second week of October for the Wyoming Tourism Summit.

Casper Area Convention and Visitors Bureau Director, Aaron McCreight says the get together is a chance to look back at the summer tourism season and ahead to winter marketing campaigns.

"What is the state tourism office doing to promote Wyoming as a destination? What is Casper doing? What is Rock Springs doing, and then, what are some co-op opportunities available throughout the state?"

He says they also consider any legislative issues that might effect tourism. Wyoming is lucky to be a high priority tourist destination for many in the country and, McCreight says,  state legislators know that.

The Wyoming Tourism Summit happens the 10th and 11th of October at the Ramkota in Casper.
