The Casper Police Department says it’s continuing an investigation into a terroristic threat made against a Casper high school back in October.

Last month, school administrators received a letter that said violence would occur against Natrona County High School on Oct. 31. Capt. Mark Trimble, who’s with the Casper Police Department, says, as police continues its investigation, enhanced security measures will continue at Natrona County High School.

We still treat school security as a very important aspect to our jobs on a day-to-day basis,” Trimble said. “We still have security in place for the school.”

Trimble would not comment on whether police have a suspect connected with the terroristic threat made in the letter.

The Casper Police Department and the Natrona County School District urge residents to call 911 to report suspicious activity.
