A Casper man will not contest charges pertaining to the sexual assault of a 3-year-old boy.

Zane Rogers entered a no contest plea to one count of sexual battery of a minor Wednesday. Rogers also pleaded guilty to one count of misdemeanor stalking and one count of knowingly accessing a computer without authorization.

Prosecutors say, in September, Rogers sexually assaulted a 3-year-old boy in a restroom. After the child told his grandfather and mother about the alleged incident, prosecutors then say Rogers then tried to harass the mother, sending her multiple threatening text messages and hacking her Facebook account.

Rogers faces up to one year in prison for the sexual battery of a minor charge. He faces up to six months and up to three years in prison respectively for the stalking and computer hacking-related charges.

Sentencing will be set for a later date.
