A passenger in a one vehicle rollover in Natrona County has died 10 days following the incident.

33-yr- old, Matthew J. Darnell, of Casper died July 20th at Wyoming Medical Center.

Lt. Terry Vincent, with the Wyoming Highway Patrol, says the crash occurred on July 10 just before 2 AM on the U.S. 20/26 bypass.

"The vehicle had attempted to exit onto the Salt Creek off ramp. The driver steered off the off ramp and then over corrected. The over correction resulted in the vehicle rolling over, I believe, one and a quarter times."

Vincent says there were three people in the vehicle all from Casper. The driver, Joyce M. Wolfe, was treated at Wyoming Medical Center and a second passenger, Eric C. Bain, was transported to Denver Health Services Hospital.   Vincent says investigators believe alcohol was involved.

"Charges are pending against the driver. We'll turn the case over to the district attorney's office which basically has already been done."

Vincent says none of the occupants were wearing a seat belt.
