A 31 year old Casper man has changed his plea on charges of sexual abuse of a minor.

Gregory Scott Mayo pleaded guilty to three charges of sexual abuse of a minor, stemming from an incident that is said to have happened early this year.

Mayo appeared in court in an orange jail jumpsuit, shackled hand-and-foot, before District Court Judge Thomas Sullins.

As part of a plea agreement, Scott entered guilty pleas on the three charges, and three other charges were dismissed.

The plea agreement also says that prosecutors will put a 25-35 year cap on the suggested sentence for the charges.

Each charge can be punishable by imprisonment for 25-50 years.

Mayo will be sentenced at a later date.
