The Rocky Mountain Gun Club, 6100 Cole Creek, Casper, WY will be hosting the 2012 Wyoming State Trap Shoot July 4 – 8, 2012.  Approximately 300 shooters from across Wyoming, the United States, and Canada will be in Casper.  Casper hosts the shoot every four years.  Shooters of all ages will be in Casper trying to win in state and out of state trophies to prove they are the best clay target shooters.

Championship Singles will be shot on Saturday July 7th and Championship Doubles and Handicap will be shot on Sunday July 8th.

This will be the second year that the Rocky Mountain Gun Club will be adding a bonus to the shoot.  On Friday, Members of the Rocky Mountain Gun Club will be “Shooting for a Cure”.  Members will be wearing pink and grey t-shirts, holding raffles, and selling other merchandise raising money to support the Wyoming Foundation for Cancer Care, formerly called Angels Program. Also to show support, the RMGC will providing pink shotgun shells to be used by all lady shooters for Singles competition on Friday.
