Fireworks Festival 2014 will be held Friday, July 4th on the grounds of the Casper Events Center. There will be a Beer Garden as well as food and vendor booths that include BBQ, kettle corn, jewelry, purses, and lots of other great items and tasty treats! Townsquare Media and the City of Casper are pleased to announce that Stars in Stereo, the Peculiar Patriots, Barrel House, and Brand 307 will be this year’s entertainment.
Stars In Stereo is four friends on a journey together, crisscrossing the country again and again, winning over new fans in new cities every time the lights go down and their first song bursts through the speakers. This is lightning in a bottle, in ten tracks. This is a roadmap of pain, and loss, and the dark underbelly of love, but also redemption, change, and hope. There is violence. There is joy. There is life. This isn’t a trend, or a scene, or another flash in the pan. This is Rock. Alive and well. Kicking and screaming. Meeting the moment. This is Stars in Stereo. Stars in Stereo are: Bec Hollcraft: Lead vocals, Jordan McGraw: Guitar, Ryan “Frogs” McCormack: Bass, Drew Langan: Drums.
The Peculiar Patriots is Nick Park, Carter Parks, Joe Mayes, Rhanden Lind, Bobby Riotto, David Ginger, and Miles Mckee playing rock, funk, and blues out of Laramie.
Brand 307 There’s no denying that Brand 307 is a band that is ushering Red Dirt country into the Front Range music scene. They are rooted in the rebel tradition in the likes of Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson of going against the grain and believing in their own brand of music. Rough, gritty, honest, and heart are words that have been used to describe the songs that Brand 307 brings to both their original songs in addition to the selections from popular artists in their live show.
Barrel House, featuring Barb Atkinson, Chase Nash, Will Chambers, Greg Kearns, Rick Constantino, offers up an energetic and eclectic mix of blues and rock. From hot-rodded delta blues, to urban soul, Sun Records rock-and-roll, and classic blues/rock, Casper’s newest band will keep your toes tapping, your hips shaking, and your soul satisfied.
