The Casper Cutthroats Baseball Club has hired the first manager in the team’s history.
Jason Watson is currently the Head Coach at Dickinson State University in Dickinson, North Dakota.

This season marked Watson’s first at Dickinson State following years as the head assistant at both Franklin (IN) College and University of Wisconsin – Platteville.

Coach Watson said,

“I want to thank Aaron and the ownership group for giving me this great opportunity, We are building a talented roster with players from around the country from all different college levels. I couldn’t be more excited about working with these young men this summer in Casper."

The Cutthroats will begin their inaugural season June 2nd on the road in Fort Collins, CO before opening the home schedule at Mike Lansing Field Monday, June 4th against the defending league champion Cheyenne Grizzlies.

The Casper Cutthroats are the newest member of the Mountain Collegiate Baseball League and look forward to forming new rivalries with the Cheyenne Grizzlies, Laramie Colts and the Fort Collins Foxes.
