Casper College Women Win 3 Straight

The Casper College women's basketball team has started out the season with 6 wins in their first 7 games. The T-Birds played host to their own tournament last week and started out with a 75-56 win over Northeastern Colorado. Lucie Hoskova led the way for Casper with 19 points while NC grad Jaye Johnson had 16. On Friday, the T-Birds had a much tougher battle with Snow College from Utah but did prevail 62-53. Hoskova once again was the leading scorer for Casper with 23 points with Mya Jones chipping in 14. C.C. wrapped up the tournament with a 75-53 victory over Central Wyoming from Riverton. Hoskova continued her excellent play with 27 points on 10-15 from the field and 5-5 from the free throw line. Johnson added 18 and hit 5, 3 pointers in the game. The T-Bird women will be in the Salt Lake tournament later on this week.
