Casper College To Host Education Summit Thursday

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — Casper College is hosting an education summit this week.

The Wyoming Science, Technology, Engineering and Math and Career Teacher Education Summit is set for Thursday.

More than 100 education leaders and others from around the state and elsewhere are expected to attend.

The summit is sponsored by the Wyoming P-16 Education Council.

Among other issues, the summit will examine the potential for science, technology, engineering and math education in the state and how a workforce educated in those fields could play in Wyoming's economic future.
