The season came to an end for the Casper College women's basketball team as they were upset by South Georgia Tech 77-65 at the National Junior College Tournament in Lubbock, Texas. The T-Birds were the 10th seed going in to the tourney and had a 10 point lead at halftime. South Georgia tech outscored the Birds by 10 in the 2nd half to force overtime with the Jets outscoring the Birds 17-5 in the extra session. Lucie Hoskova was Casper's leading scorer with 22 points in 9-17 from the field but the Birds as a team shot just 30% from the floor and were 6-30 from 3 point land. South Georgia Tech shot 37% from the flloor and 7-19 from 3 point land. They were led in scoring by Alyssa Nieves with 21. This was Casper College's first appearance in the national tournament since 2011 and wrap up the season 31-3
