The names and interview schedules for the three job candidates vying to become the fifth president of Casper College have been announced.

The three – Darren Divine, Steve Rook, and Daniel Bingham, will each spend a day meeting with a variety of groups on campus beginning at 7:30 a.m. and concluding with a dinner with the college’s District Board of Trustees at 6:30 p.m.

Each candidate will have the exact schedule, but on different days, according to Chauncy Johnson, director of human resources. Divine will be the first candidate to visit Casper College on Tuesday, March 24, followed by Rook on Wednesday, March 25, and Bingham on Friday, March 27.

Highlights of the schedule include an all-staff question and answer session with each candidate from 10-10:45 a.m., an all-administrative question and answer session with each candidate from 10:45-11:30 a.m., and an all-faculty question and answer session with each candidate from 2:15-3 p.m.

A public forum will begin at 4:45 p.m. and provide “an opportunity for community members to meet the candidates. Each candidate will give a 20 minute presentation on ‘The Role of Community Colleges,” said Johnson. The presentation will begin at 5 p.m.

All question and answer sessions and the public forum will be held in the Gateway Building, Room 225 and are open to the public. Complete schedule details as well as biographies on each candidate can be found at caspercollege.edu/presidential_search.

The new president will begin on July 1, 2015. The college’s current president, Dr. Walter Nolte will step down on June 30, 2015 after 11 years as the college’s fifth president.
