Casper College Hosts Governor, Superintendent Debates on Thursday
The four candidates for governor and two candidates for superintendent of public instruction will debate at the Wheeler Concert Hall at Casper College on Thursday.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and the gubernatorial debate begins at 6:30 p.m., according to the college's calendar.
The four candidates are Republican Gov. Matt Mead who is seeking a second four-year term, Democrat Pete Gosar, independent Don Wills, and Libertarian Dee Cozzens.
After the gubernatorial race debate, superintendent of public instruction candidates will debate at 8 p.m. The candidates are Democrat Mike Ceballos and Republican Jillian Barlow..
Campaign materials including signs are prohibited.
The debate is sponsored by Casper College and the Casper Star-Tribune.
