The Casper College men's rodeo team finished 3rd at last weeks Laramie rodeo but moved up 2 spots in the final regular season standings to take 2nd in the Central Rocky Mountain Region. With that 2nd place finish, the T-Birds qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo as a team. Casper College edged Gillette College by just 10 points to take 2nd in the region. Individually, Logan Brown took 3rd in the region in the tie down roping and 4th in the all around. The T-Birds did particularly well in the team roping with Trey Yates taking 1st in the region in the heeling with Jerren Johnson 2nd. Wheaton Williams took 2nd in the header portion of the team roping with Kaelie Oliver 7th. The CNFR will be June the 10th through the 16th at the Casper Events Center.
