A Casper man is admitting to a dozen charges stemming from a high speed chase this past weekend.

Nineteen year old Brenden Westbrook has entered guilty pleas to 12 charges, including DUI, DUS, minor in possession, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, eluding a police officer and assault on a police officer.

Investigators say shortly after Midnight on Saturday, November 2nd an officer on patrol spotted Westbrook driving a vehicle with no tail lights on 39th street.

When he tried to pull him over, Westbrook fled, hitting speeds as fast as 83 miles per hour in a 30 mile per hour zone.

Westbrook eventually lost control of his vehicle on Cherry Avenue, where he crashed into a parked truck.

He then tried to flee on foot, and reports indicate he hit an officer in the face as he was being taken into custody.

Westbrook's license had been suspended, and the license plate on the vehicle did not match registration.

He is being held on $2,000 bond and will be sentenced at a later date.
