The state of Wyoming will remain stuck in between a trough of low pressure to the east and higher pressure to the west.  As a result, strong to high winds will be found throughout much of the state today.  Most locations of central and eastern Wyoming can expect wind gusts between 35 and 50 mph.  However, the more wind-prone areas of southeastern Wyoming can expect some occasional gusting of 50+ mph.  Strong to high winds will also create areas of blowing snow.  The main concern will be along I-80 near the Arlington area, where reduced visibility and slick/icy roads are likely.  With the exception of the northwestern mountains, the entire state of Wyoming can also expect sunny to mostly sunny skies, mainly dry weather conditions, and near or slightly above normal temperatures today.  High temperatures will be in the 20's and 30's, with some lower 40's in the far eastern plains.  By Wednesday, the high pressure system over the west coast will shift slightly east and become settled over Wyoming.  Expect plenty of sunshine, mainly dry weather conditions, and warmer than normal temperatures.  Winds, however, will remain strong to high at times.  Colder temperatures and a chance for snow will then be in the forecast Thursday through at least Sunday.
