Update: The hunter whose body was found near Interstate 25 in the Cheyenne are Tuesday night has been identified as 43-year-old Timothy Conley of Cheyenne. Laramie County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Capt. Linda Gesell says an autopsy which had been scheduled for Wednesday afternoon in Colorado has been postponed. Gesell said it's unclear at this point when the autopsy will be conducted.

The body of a 43-year-old Cheyenne man who never returned from scouting for deer near Interstate 25 Tuesday was found Tuesday evening, according to a spokeswoman for the Laramie County Sheriff's Department.

Capt. Linda Gesell said Wednesday morning that the man dropped his son off at a home on Road 234 around 4 p.m. Tuesday and then drove his van to the west side of I-25 to scout for deer.

The man was supposed to pick up his son when it got dark. When he failed to return the Sheriff's Department was called, and a search to find him was launched.

His body was found a little after 7:30 p.m. 2 miles west of Interstate 25 in the Nimmo Road area. Gesell said there were no obvious wounds to the body and foul play is not suspected.

While the man has been identified, authorities are withholding his name pending notification of relatives. An autopsy is scheduled for later today (Wednesday) in Loveland, Colorado.
