ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) — Authorities in southwestern Wyoming have found the body of an Illinois woman who had not been heard from since Sept. 3.

Searchers found the body of 28-year-old Teresa Withers about 17 miles south of Wamsutter on Wednesday.

Sweetwater County Coroner Dale Majhamnovich said there were no signs of foul play and that Withers may have died of exposure and hypothermia.

Withers had been travelling with Mitchell Wiley of Galesburg, Illinois. Officials said their car had a flat tire and that Wiley had left on foot to look for help.

Wiley was found wandering alone by oilfield workers on Sunday south of nearby Red Desert. He was disoriented and hospitalized in Rawlins.
