The Casper Bobcat junior hockey team posted their first wins of the season with a 3 game sweep of Cheyenne at the Ice Arena last week. On Friday, the Cats beat the Stampede 5-2 thanks to a hat trick from Joel Rothman. Casper tallied 3 times in the 3rd period of play. On Saturday, the Bobcats prevailed 4-1 with Oscar Andersson scoring twice with an assist. Sundays game was wild to say the least with Casper scoring 7 goals in the period and holding on for a 7-6 win. Florian Seelman had a goal and 4 assists for Casper with Kevin Richter adding a goal and 3 assists. The Bobcats are 3-6 in Western States League play and will host undefeated Ogden at the Ice Arena on Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
