A fast-moving weather disturbance and cold front will push out of the state of Wyoming this morning. Higher pressure will then build over the region for the rest of the day. Any lingering flurries or light snow showers will quickly come to an end. Expect increasing sunshine for the rest of the day, but temperatures will remain very cold and well below normal. High temperatures will only be in the teens to lower 20's.  A strong pressure gradient will also set up over the region later today and tonight, which will cause winds to increase and become strong to high. High winds (gusts between 50 and 65 mph) will be found across I-25 (Colorado state line to Wheatland), I-80 (Rock Springs to Nebraska state line), and US-85 (Colorado state line to Torrington). Blowing snow will be likely into Friday morning, which will create poor visibility and keep roads icy. Elsewhere, expect wind gusts between 35 and 50 mph. Areas of blowing snow will also be possible for the rest of the state, which will reduce visibility at times and will also keep roads slick and icy. High pressure remains settled over the region on Friday and for much of the day on Saturday.  Expect mostly sunny skies, mainly dry weather conditions, and warmer temperatures.  Strong to high winds will continue through much of the day on Friday.  Reduced to poor visibility with slick and icy roads will be likely through mid-day and then we will start to see improving road and travel conditions due to warmer temperatures, increasing sunshine, and melting snow.  Strong winds will then return to the region late on Saturday.
