That certainly seems to be the case for 50-year-old Bart Hickey. Legally blind, he can’t drive a car — but he can take one apart and put it back together. He even owns his own successful repair shop in the Chicago suburb of Alsip, Illinois.

Mercedes-Benz was so intrigued by his story that the German auto manufacturer sent a film crew to talk to him. What you’ll see is a guy who hasn’t let a little thing like blindness stand in the way of doing what he loves — and some touching testimonials from the people in his community who love him.
