Benefit Gala Features Wine Tasting [AUDIO]

Wine aficionados will have a chance to raise their glasses and help people at a benefit gala this Saturday. Wine with a View, a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Wyoming Medical Center, will be Saturday evening from 5 to 8pm, at the Parkway Plaza Hotel and Convention Center.

Silent auction:

"About 20 wine vendors who are going to be offering over 200 different wines that they can taste, and the Parkway puts on this smorgasbord of food that is, really, this nice little dinner that you can make out of it, so for 35 dollars you can taste over 200 wines, have a great meal. And then we have a silent auction of various artwork evolving around the reflections theme."

Pam Walker, with the Wyoming Medical Center Foundation, says there will be more than 30 original artworks for auction.

"The tickets are available at First Interstate Bank, Hilltop National Bank, Poplar Wine and Spirits, the Parkway Plaza, the Foundation (Wyoming Medical Center), or you can call me at 577-2973 and I can take your order over the phone. And this all benefits the Angel's Cancer Care program and Safe Kids of Central Wyoming."

Again, Wine with a View will be at the Parkway Plaza Hotel, Saturday, from 5 to 8pm. Tickets are 35 dollars.
