Mild temperatures will continue to blanket the state for another day making for more great weather for holiday travelers.  Once again, those in the northwest will want to be ready for snow showers.  Northwest Wyoming is under a Winter Weather Advisory through early Thursday morning.

Then be ready for the wind.  Very strong, gusty west to southwest winds will develop across much of the state later today and for Thanksgiving Day.  Portions of central, south central and southeastern Wyoming are under a High Wind Warning this afternoon through Thursday afternoon.  Sustained winds of 30 to 45 mph are expected, with gusts to 60 mph at times.

The wind will be ahead of a cold front that will blast through the state early Thanksgiving Day morning.  It will be a windy, much colder day statewide with highs mainly in the 30s and 40s.  Far northern and western Wyoming will see some holiday snow with some areas of blowing and drifting snow expected there.  Other areas of state will be mainly dry.
