A Natrona County man is admitting he took money and a truck from a ranch.

Basil Medina has pleaded guilty to one charge of larceny.

Prosecutors say in June, Medina was working at a ranch, when one of the owners noticed about $3,000 missing from her purse, as well as the keys to one of the work trucks.

Medina was the only person unaccounted for at the time of the discovery, and one witness said Medina was seen in the truck earlier in the day.

Investigators later found medina and the vehicle in Wheatland.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors will seek no more than a three-to-five year prison sentence.

Medina is being held on $10,000 bond.
