Authorities Say Man Found Dead Near Rock Springs

ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) — Officials in Sweetwater County are working to identify a homicide victim found near Rock Springs this week.

Sweetwater County Sheriff's Department spokesman Dick Blust says the body of a young man was found Sunday. Blust says an autopsy was conducted Tuesday in Colorado and says officials hope to identify the victim by Friday.

The Sheriff's Office and the Rock Springs Police Department are conducting a joint investigation.
