An estimate from the Natrona County Emergency Management Office suggests that water will start running over the spillway at Pathfinder Reservoir between May 20th and the 23rd. Once Pathfinder begins to spill, flows from Grey Reef will gradually be increased from 5,400 cubic feet per second to 6,500. This is a larger increase than previously expected due to more water accumulation in southern Wyoming and northern Colorado following recent snow and rainfall.

Sandbag stations will be open Saturday, May 14th, and Saturday, May 21st, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The stations are located on Wyoming Boulevard adjacent the fairgrounds, and on Cole Creek Road just north of Highway 20/26 (the old Glenrock Highway).

Emergency managers stress that this is a very dynamic situation that could change at any time.
