How do you know when Summer has begun? Is it the heat? Is it when baseball season starts heating up? Is it when your Grandmother makes her famous bowl of potato salad? Well, in Casper, one surefire way to know that Summer is here is when the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo comes to town!
Another year has come and gone, and with it, the remnants of the 2011 Fireworks Festival that was held at the Casper Events Center. Approximately a million people (ok, maybe not that many) came out to see amazing bands, eat incredible food, and drink adequate beer.
If you were to ask someone from Wyoming what the best part about living in this state was, you'd get a plethora of answers, but the answer you would hear more often than not is "the rodeo!" They say that laughter is the best medicine, and the lucky folks that caught Bob Zany and Keith West at The Attic on Friday should be in good health for the next few years, as the laughs were aplenty. Keith West and his lovely assistant opened the show with some magic, some dancing, and some very odd costumes, before Zany came on stage with his trademark cigar and one-liners. Not there?
