A 43 year old Cheyenne woman was killed in a single vehicle crash Wednesday morning on I-80 about 12 miles east of Laramie in Albany County.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol says the dtiver, 49 year old Cheyenne resident James Evans, was westbound on I-80 in the right lane. Black ice conditions exsisted on the roadway and Evans lost control of the vehicle as it started to rotate towards the right shoulder. Evans steered to the left and over corrected the steering back to the right causing the vehicle to rotate clockwise and go into a broadside slide. The truck left the roadway on the right side going into the borrow ditch.
The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited Salt Lake City-based Sinclair Oil for 11 violations at its Sinclair Refinery in Sinclair, Wyoming.
