WYDOT Installs Web Camera to Monitor WYO 130 Washout Repairs
A temporary web camera is being used to monitor the temporary bridge on Snowy Range Road (Wyo 130) which was constructed after a flash flood washed out a section of the road, killing four members of a Colorado family. The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) had the camera installed as an added measure of safety during repairs.

Another advocate for increased winter-use at Yellowstone National Park stepped forward in Wyoming Governor Matt Mead, who sent a letter to the Yellowstone National Park Superintendent, Daniel Wenk, on Tuesday. In the letter Mead expressed his desire for a winter-use plan that allows more people to visit Yellowstone during the winter months.

Hunters who would like to pick up reduced price licenses for elk, deer and antelope can now purchase them. Available reduced price licenses to both residents and nonresidents include 8,966 cow/calf elk, 13,534 doe/fawn deer and 19,232 doe/fawn antelope.
Wyoming is First State to Go Google for Government [VIDEO]
Wyoming Governor Matt Mead met with the Google Enterprise President, David Girouard, on Wednesday morning to discuss Wyoming being the first state in the country to go Google. On June 20th, all of the state’s employees migrated to Google Apps for Government according to a release from the Governor’s Office.
Mead says the move will save the state of Wyoming an estimated $1 million a year.
