DayWeather
A cold front will work its way through the state today and tonight. Snow showers, already found in portions of central and southwestern Wyoming will spread east as the day wears on. Not only will travelers need to watch out for snow, but also for areas of fog mainly in some valley regions and in the north
Expect mild temperatures and plenty of sunshine across much of the Cowboy state today. Central and southeast parts of the state will remain quite breezy and windy in many locations. Some of the more wind-prone areas along I-25 and I-80, south of Casper and north of Cheyenne, will have gusting winds between 45 and 55 mph at times
A large ridge of high pressure will push further into Wyoming today. As a result, winds will be strong and gusty, but temperatures will slowly increase. After a blast of cold air last weekend and earlier this week, afternoon highs will rise to near average and above average ranges across central and southeast Wyoming
New snow across much of the Cowboy state will be small through Friday night and early Saturday. However, widespread slick and icy travel conditions and blowing snow should continue to be expected. Arctic air will also remain across the region through the weekend so be careful if traveling or having to spend time outside
A ridge of high pressure is overhead and will not be moving out anytime soon. All in all the weather will be settled and mainly dry across the Cowboy State for the next several days. The exception will be portions of the Big Horn Basin where areas of fog and freezing fog will cause reduced visibility and some slick roads
