Strong high pressure will stay in control of the state's weather through the weekend. Temperatures will continue to soar into the 80s and 90s, with a few 70s for the high country. Overnight lows will be mainly in the 50s and lowers 60s, with 40s for the mountains
A quiet start to the day across the Cowboy State will be replaced by some thunderstorm activity later on. Once again, the most abundant moisture will be found in the western third of the state. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop in the west this afternoon with some of them heading further east as the day wears on
Temperatures will remain quite warm and above normal for the rest of this week across eastern and southeast Wyoming. Expect highs into the 90's each day this week. Unsettled weather will remain a possibility, with the chance for isolated showers or thunderstorms this afternoon and this evening
The weather pattern will not change too much over the next several days. High pressure will be overhead and within that ridge will be moisture coming in from the west and southwest. This will create daily chances for showers and thunderstorms today through Sunday

Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms will once again be a possibility in the state. The south and the mountains will be in the best position for thunderstorm activity later today and this evening
