Two days are in the books at the State High School Track & Field Meet in Casper with a few local athletes picking up state titles. Kristy Dick of Natrona won the 4A championship in the shot put with a toss of 41 feet 10 inches. Maddison Dedic of Kelly Walsh took 4th. Mikalah Jones of Glenrock is the 2A state champion in the discus with a winning toss of 118 feet 6 inches. KW's Kailey walker took 6th in the 4A long jump.

For the boys, Midwest won the 1A championship in the 4 x 100 meter relay. Deaton Joslyn, Will Chapman, Kayden Best and Dalton Bogart ran 46.08 to edge Farson and Lingle for the title. in the 4A boys 4 x 100 relay, Natrona took 2nd and Kelly Walsh 3rd. Individually, NC's Hunter Brown took 2nd in the 4A triple jump and 4th in the high jump. KW's Sage Coventry took 3rd in the 4A high jump. Kaleb Smith of Midwest placed 6th in the 1A triple jump. Natrona's Lane Myers was 6th in the 4A 800.
