A ridge of high pressure will continue to build over the state of Wyoming today.  Expect early sunshine with increasing cloud cover by the afternoon and evening hours.  There will also be a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms, especially across northern and eastern parts of the state, due to low-level moisture and daytime heating.  Any storms that develop could be strong to severe and capable of producing hail, strong winds, and brief periods of heavy rain.  Temperatures will be warmer and slightly above normal today, with daytime highs staying in the 70's and 80's.  High pressure will continue to control the weather statewide through the end of the weekend.  Expect sunny to mostly sunny skies with very warm to hot temperatures on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  However, we still cannot rule out an isolated shower or thunderstorm.
