Amber Mefferd Pleads Not Guilty To Prostitution Charges
One of three Casper area women arrested in a prostitution bust has entered her plea in district court.
Amber Mefferd pleaded not guilty to one felony charge of prostitution and three other misdemeanor charges in connection to a prostitution sting on September 30th.
Police say they found an online ad that was offering companionship and that there were several ads for different women, all with the same phone number, and that number belonged to Mefferd.
She also provided a link to a review website, which said she had engaged in previous prostitution acts.
Mefferd and another woman met with the undercover agent at a Casper hotel and agreed on a $500 price.
The two women engaged in sexual acts with each other, before the the police broke it up and arrested them.
Mefferd is free on bail and is awaiting trial.
