All evacuations on Casper Mountain since the start of the Sheep Herder Hill fire have now been lifted. Officials with Natrona County Emergency Management say all land owners now have access to their property without escort. The fire destroyed 37 cabins and homes, and damaged dozens of outbuildings.

At the height of the fire, 150 homes and cabins were evacuated, and 750 property owners were given pre-evacuation notices. Those have all been lifted. Most areas on the mountain are still closed to the general public. Although the fire is 100 percent contained, there are areas of hot spots and damaged trees that could fall and cause injury.
