The snow will continue to pile up in the state’s mountains today and this evening as additional snow showers are still expected.  Northwest Wyoming and the Sierra Madre and Snowy Ranges remain in Winter Weather Advisories through this evening.

Elsewhere across the state, the northeast corner will continue to be in a good position for additional light snow as well.  The central and the eastern plains may see a few flurries here and there too.  The further south in the state you are the more wind you will encounter too.

As we head into the weekend the chilly, unsettled weather pattern will be replaced with one that is much more settled.  Other than for a few high mountain flurries, conditions will be mainly dry across the state both Saturday and Sunday.  Temperatures will rebound as well and top off in the 40s and lower 50s, with 30s still expected in the mountains and in the northwest.
