A Mills man now admits he accidentally shot and killed his brother.

Twenty-three year old Aaron Gish has pleaded guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter.

According to Mills police, in September, Gish was at home with his brother Ryan, when the gun he was handling discharged.

An autopsy report says the bullet hit ryan in the wrist, lung, liver and heart.

In an interview with investigators, Gish said he knew the gun was loaded at the time, but was not sure why he squeezed the trigger.

He also said that he had smoked marijuana earlier in the day.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors will seek no more than a four-to-five year suspended prison sentence, with one year at the Casper Re-Entry Center.

Sentencing will be handed down at a later date.
