A Rare Win for the Horseheads

The Casper Horseheads came up with an 11-9 win over Spearfish on Saturday night in Lansing field to improve to11-25 in Expedition League play. The win was just their 3rd in the last 12 games and lead off man Dalton Mauldlin once again was a spark with 3 hits, 2 runs scored an RBI. Conner Lowrie went 3-5 with a home run and Collin Chaney went 3-5 with a home and 3 RBI's  The Horseheads scored 6 times in the 2nd inning and pounded out 16 hits. Starting pitcher Tyson Ellis gave up 7 runs in 8 innings of work. The Horseheads will host Hastings, Nebraska on Sunday at Lansing Field.
