The air mass across the state has started to dry out a touch.  That being said, there will still be a chance for isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and this evening.  The best chance for thunderstorm activity will be in the  west and in the mountains.  This will be of a concern in the northwest and west central portions of the state as the thunderstorms will contain heavy rain and flooding will be of a concern.  A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through 9 PM for the northwest and west central portions of the state.   There are only small chances of thunderstorms in the lower elevations.

The weather on Wednesday looks much the same with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and highs mainly in the 80s and lows ranging from the mid 40s to the lower 60s.  Once again late day thunderstorms are expected mainly in the mountains and in the west.
