A Conversation With Sam Bush [AUDIO]

You can call him Mr Entertainment, the King Of Telluride, The Father of Newgrass, but the title of “Lynn’s husband” is the one that means the most to him. Sam Bush joins us for the Beartrap Summer Festival on Sunday August 4th and he is one of the most sought after bluegrass or “newgrass” players out there.

Newgrass came from the first band that Sam Bush put together in the early 70′s called the Newgrass Revival. As Sam explained to me Newgrass is simply playing bluegrass with the instruments of today as opposed to the traditional instruments of days gone by.
