A strong low pressure system situated across northern Wyoming and southern Montana will drag a cold front through the state today.  Expect additional clouds moving in with developing rain showers across central parts of the state.   Rain showers will be scattered and could potentially have some brief thunder this afternoon.  Winds will gradually increase through the day, especially this afternoon and tonight.  The National Weather Service has issued several High Wind Warnings across the area.  Expect gusting behind the front to reach 55 to 70 mph at times, and in the more wind-prone areas.
