City Of Casper Announces Ward II Council Member Applicants

Fifteen people applied to fill the vacant Ward II Casper City Council seat vacated by Craig Hedquist last month.

Council announced the vacancy on July 29, and the deadline was Aug. 14, according to a news release from the City Manager's Office.

These individuals have applied for the position:

Leslie Becker.
Tate Belden.
Robert Eckhart.
Frederick Feth.
Greg Flesvig.
David Forbes.
John Kirlin.
Cristie Love.
Scott Miller.
Chris Morgan.
Todd Murphy.
Paul Paad.
Robert Sjogren.
John Trohkimoinen.
Dale Zimmerle.

The news release did not discuss how the council will conduct the selection process such as who interviews the candidates, when they will be interviewed, if the interviews and other meetings will be conducted in public, and when a decision will be made.

Council is scheduled to discuss this item in an executive session after its regularly scheduled work session at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
