Adarus Greenway Pleads Not Guilty To Aggravated Burglary

One of four people accused of being involved in burglarizing a house in Casper, has entered a plea in court.

Twenty-eight year old Adarus Greenway has pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated burglary and conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary.

Investigators with the Casper Police Department say in middle March, a man returned to his home on Pennsylvania Street and noticed it had been burglarized.

Among the items missing were a Glock Model 23 pistol, prescription medicines, several computers, and checkbooks.

The resident told a police officer he had an idea on who committed the burglary, because one of the suspects had been at the resident’s house earlier and knew about the handgun and the medicine.

It turned out there were several people involved in the burglary, including Greenway.

Another accomplice told investigators that she was able to enter the house through the doggie door, let everyone else in and saw Greenway take the gun.

Greenway is being held on $10,000 bond awaiting trial and could face between five-to-25 years in prison, on the aggravated burglary charge if convicted.

He is currently serving three-to-five years in prison for having his probation revoked in another matter.

Three other people connected to this case are facing charges as well, and are awaiting trial.
